From pre-op to 1 year post-op Surgical correction From pre-op to 1 year post-op
Surgical correction takes patience, but the results speak for themselves. Healing is a process….trust it.

This patient underwent hammertoe correction with digital shortening to restore alignment and create a smoother, more cosmetic toe parabola.

When toes sit out of place, they don’t just affect appearance - they can also cause pain, difficulty with shoe gear, and pressure sores over time. By shortening and realigning the toes, we’re able to both improve function and give the foot a more natural cosmetic look.

Recovery doesn’t happen overnight. At 2 weeks, swelling and stitches are still visible. By 4 weeks, the shape is taking form but the healing process is ongoing. And by 1 year post-op, you can see the final result: a functional, pain-free, and cosmetically balanced parabola.

Every case is unique, but the key takeaway is that foot surgery requires patience, trust in the process, and careful post-op care. The results, as you can see, are worth it. 👣

Ps. Look at me posting more 🤭. Yall wanna see more like this ?

This approach was chosen based on her age and medical history, providing a safer and less invasive solution.

A trimalleolar fracture involves all three ‘mall A trimalleolar fracture involves all three ‘malleoli’…the medial, lateral, and posterior parts of your ankle. It’s one of the most unstable ankle breaks. With the talus no longer held in place, it’s not just a fracture, it’s a dislocation-level injury that almost always requires surgical repair to restore stability. #trauma #surgery #anklefracture
